After many problems, tomorrow is expected to start maintaining practical test for driver's license

Kosova Prees learns from its sources within the Ministry of Infrastructure, that they are analyzing legal changes following the law's entry into force for public officials, and that within the week they will find a solution.

But that the trial will begin as of tomorrow, the chairman of the Kosovo Autoschool Federation, Jemush Calcoll, who had a meeting with the Secretary General of the Ministry of Infrastructure, confirmed.

Chocolate says after the meeting she had, she's been informed that some examiners who have the contract will hold the actual test.

It is expected that on Monday it will probably continue, that there are several examiners that have licenses and to compensate or replace those that are without a license, until their future licensing”, he says.

He claimed that the lack of examiners has come after some have expired contracts, while, according to him, some have expired their licenses.

Calcolly says he doesn't understand why the Ministry of Infrastructure has not organised testing of examiners for relicensation either, but which says it might be because the ministry and government are on the run.

The group has not damaged us, but it is damaging citizens who expect to undergo exam, practice, and a driver's license, which has accomplished the theoretical part, and who have only been expected to submit to the practical section. It's true that it's a lack of examiners for a while who have expired contracts and expired the license for which they have to undergo a test to license and continue that contract. But, we know that the government is in resignation at this moment and it's still some kind of negligence, or we don't even know what happened, that no exams have been organised to license these examines”, he says.

Meanwhile, Bashkim Jetullahu, owner of the “8 car. Mars”, says that candidates are mostly being hurt by this situation.

Kosova Prees has tried to get an answer from the Ministry of Infrastructure, but this ministry's media office, despite the promise it will return answers overnight, has not done so.

In a media communiqué issued days earlier, this minister had said that they were working on resolving the issue of maintaining the practical test for driver's license, following the law's entry into force for public officials number 06/L-14.

With the expiration of examination decisions, this law, which entered into force on September 11, 2019, has shown uncertainty requiring legal analysis towards continuing their engagement. In this case, relevant MlT departments are committed to finding the solution to this situation, always based on law. MlT requires understanding by candidates who could not have submitted to the test, which they will be able to perform very quickly, says the communique.
