The incident occurred last week in high school “Lyman” in Kyle, Texas, about 30 miles south of Austin.
The 32-year-old teacher, Tiffany Shadel Lankford, is charged with serious bodily injuries.
Already, the former teacher paid a loan of $10,000 and was released. But if the court charges her with serious bodily injuries, she risks prison from 2 to 29 years.
