The Albanological Institute of Two Big Projects has only finalised the work of Rexhep Qremit, while Anton Chetta's has not yet finished, even though the same had been completed two years earlier.
So said the publication of the report “Intituti of the Integration Civil Society assessment of Pristina's Albanological Institute”.
According to this assessment since 2008, the Albanological Institute has been allocated a special budget line, especially since 2012, when the annual budget has more than half a million euros, while the budget for this year is around 1m euros.
Shkelzen Gashi from the Integration NGO said the first find is that under the Law for Research-Skencre event, the director, who, in addition to running the Albanological Institute, also heads the Steering Council and its Scientific Council.
For more, there are no legal or statuteary restrictions as far as the number of mandates can be held”, Gashi said.
He also said there is no international project and no English-language work.
Another concern is the competition for opening a nest within the facility's facilities, where the secretary's wife at the Albanology Institute is the winner.
Gashi also raised the professional question of employees. According to him, of the 36 scientific employees in IA, most or 31 have CVs published on the IA website, but are not up-to-date with publications in local and international academic journals.
Colliqi out of Intgra talking about the report's goals and objectives said there are many institutions in Kosovo that function as in the islands, and there is no accountability and transparency from them.
Intgra, this kind of report has been made for the Kosovo Academy of Sciences. /Kosovo pres/
