For Russian missile systems, Serbia can be sanctioned by the United States.

However, despite these warnings in Kosovo, they are concerned with arming the northern neighbour.

They call it “Bisha S400”, this is the sophisticated missile system that Russia landed these days in Serbia. The heavy arms were brought in for the “Slavic shielding”, which was held in late October until immediately military and political officials said they were interested in buying for their army.

This and other strong military heads of Belgrade and Moscow have raised the alarm in Usshaington.

America's Special Envoy for the Western Balkans Matthew Palmer, during his stay in Skopje, threatened Serbia with special sanctions if the state that does not want NATO membership buy military equipment from Russia.

The Americans remain concerned even with the Russian militant presence in Serbia, even for one exercise.

Palmer most likely mentioned this stance Monday when he stayed in Belgrade, but did not mention it at the joint conference with Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq. The latter had estimated that sanctions would be great injustice.

The northern neighbour's arming has greatly disturbed Kosovo. That's what outgoing Deputy Defence Minister Burim Ramadani is saying.

“are threatening messages for the entire region not only for Kosovo and as such are messages of past logic. Let us not forget that the institutions of both military, police, political institutions in Serbia have the legacy of genocide, violence and attempted extermination of other peoples in the Balkans”, Ramadani has said of Klan Kosova.
