This is where no more resistant microbe survives

This is also true of such complex organisms as long - lived, or water “aries”. For them, they proved to be able to survive the complete freeze and melt, being able to resist the conditions of the Chernobyl nuclear disaster era for some time, even managing to survive a short time outside the international space station in Earth's orbit in open space.

We call such organisms extremist. But are there organisms capable of surviving both extreme temperatures and brutal acidity and salt at such a level that salt crystals grow like mushrooms?

There are multiple extremists, and this is why scientists took it virtually undisputed when it was announced two years ago that a team of scientists led by Barbara Cavalaz of the University of Bologna had discovered life even in the worst area to live on Earth. This is about lakes and pools of pure acid in the Danakill Valley, Ethiopia.

They thought they found traces of DNA from the chemical bacteria. The news now, however, is that there is no evidence that there is life there, and it is almost certain that life is completely impossible in some places in a 250-mile-long valley. And what is that place? It is the parts of Africa's horn, about 100 meters below sea level, with a daily peak of 48 ° C and sometimes up to 55 °C.

The area is difficult to achieve because of traffic isolation, but also because of the threat of armed attacks by militant groups that often attack populations in areas around Ethiopia, Eritrea, Somalia, Kenya...

The “location resembles the surface of Mars”, where three tectonic tablets meet underground because of which the magma is near the surface. Scientists have analyzed through the lab everything reported to have been found in that valley, and they have found that there are many phenomena of extremely lifeless chemical forms that resemble living organisms, but they are obviously not.

They found something that looks like fossilized cells, but life like that doesn't happen. In the end, there is no life there, which makes this place a rare sight on planet Earth, and everything known about chemistry and biology.

At the end of the story, someone will ask themselves and what is the purpose of research not if there is life somewhere but if there is no place in life. For scientists, this is of great importance, since on this basis they determine what the ultimate limits to life on earth are.

And what's true about Earth is certainly true of other planets in the cosmos, or at least roughly, and the consequences of such scientific knowledge are very distant.
