At the Centre for Counting and Results today, implementation of the Election Panel's decision on Anxiety and Prefix for the recount of 1472 locations begins.

As a result of this recounting of the results of the October 6th election will drag on until early December, as the recount is expected to last about 3 weeks.

Eugen Cakoli from KDI for KosovaPress has stated that with the PZAP decision about 90 per cent of the deployments have been recounted so far.

Taking into account the performance of the recounting process of the past two rounds, Calkoli says the recount process of approximately 1500 deployments is expected to be completed in about three weeks.

If the dynamic of the recounting process is taken into account by the preliminary process that has been developed in the two rounds of recounting, then I believe that with the same dynamic it will take the QNR at least three weeks to complete the recount process for these centres. Probably. The CEC will decide to increase the capacity of the QNR, adding tables for the size of about 30 per cent that automatically imply that the recount process itself will be cut in the 30 per cent deadline. I believe it is extremely important that the recounting process is not rushed by any acts involved, since if we consider the smaller differences of subjects who claim to be part of the Assembly then this process should be creditable and transparent in order to avoid any possibility that even the recount process will then be contested”, Cakkoli said.

According to Cacolit, the decision to recount on the part of the Ances and Paraseta Electoral Panel will push the results out. He even says that this whole process could be completed by certificate at the end of November or early December.

“Certification of results can be made after a length of complaint over procedures in the CNR that are actually procedural complaints, meaning that after the recount process the results can be certified within a few days. I believe that in general the whole process will be completed sometime at the end of this month or beyond in the first weeks of December and that then would pave the way for the Kosovo Assembly to be implemented sometime by the middle or end of December”, he said.

Even political analyst Rasim Alija says that considering the trend of the current recounting in the QNR, the recounting process of 1472 deployments will last about two weeks, while adding that an election reform is needed in order not to repeat such irregularities.

If we take into account the recount trend that took place after the election process of other locations, we can say that approximately two weeks will be the period of the recount process, consider other problems that could arise in the meantime until the confirmation of the election results, we can come to December and not have the certificate of results”, Alija said.

Through a media release, the Central Election Commission has announced that today at the Centre for Counting and Results will begin the settlement recount process after the decision is made by PZAP.

“Today at the Counting and Results Centre begins the process of recounting deployments following the Election Panel's decision on Ances and Paraseta”, the letter says.

PZAP has decided on Monday to order the CEC to re-count 1472 deployments following complaints accepted by political subjects, which totaled 102, and to accept based on the complaint filed by the Coalition Initiative AKR DP, to remove from the final outcome votes coming from Serbia.
