Tens of French activists have blocked access to a Amazon warehouse in southern Paris to protest the environmental impact the Black Friday event suggests.
Protesters lined up in the chain where they put hay and threw old refrigerators and microwaves out of Amazon warehouses in Brettny-sur-Orge on Thursday.
They also blocked supply trucks, writes the BBC.
Police dismissed activists, whose aim was to undermine Black Friday sales.
In response, the Amazon said it respects the right to protest, but accused activists of “false charges”, Periscopi explains.
