The activity of the UP teacher engagement at this stage has been in co-ordination with the Faculty of Construction Engineering management in Tirana.
The “Co-ordination has been implemented by the assistant faculty in Tirana, prof. Dr. Agim Serenaj and the representative of the Durres Community, Ms. Davida never did. During this activity, 30 residential objects have been visited in Lagen No. 18 The Keneta, where reports of evaluation have been prepared for the sites, which then have been forwarded to the Civil Emergency Centre in Durres. Teachers agreed that the following steps will be met in line with the requirements and needs set forth. Educators of the Faculty of Construction expressed readiness to be available, while involving other teachers with joint commissions teaching from Tirana's Polytechnic University to engage in professional assessments of damaged construction facilities”, the communiqué reportedly.
On the other hand, the assistance also offered the Psychological Department, whose professors have carried out an intensive training a day, with the aim of preparing psychologists for offering psycho-Social support and advice to all displaced persons from Albania at the former KFOR camp.
Our professors and students will play an active role in the process of providing voluntary psycho-social support and counseling. They will provide continued professional supervision and training for Prizren's mobile teams of students and mental health professionals, who will provide field services.
