Numerous citizens in Pristina have expressed concern by wandering dogs, presence and their frequent attacks that are taking place in recent years.
But apparently this problem is about to end.
Pristina Mayor Shpend Ahmeti has declared that after many letters submitted to the central level for the need for national co-ordination on the issue of wandering dogs, the Pristina municipality can no longer wait.
Today, construction of the centre or shelter of stray dogs in the capital has been surrendered to procurement.
He therefore said that, in addition, some food points would be placed for wandering dogs at major points in the city.
Full Posting:
After many letters sent to the central level for the need for national co-ordination of stray dogs, the Pristina municipality can no longer wait. Today we have submitted to procurement construction of the centre/residence in Pristina.
In addition, we'll put some feeding points for stray dogs at the main points in town.
Finally, we're also building a dog park for the walk of domestic dogs.
