(7 years ago)Kosovo Statistics Agency Executive Chief Chief Isa Krasniqi has declared that the census of Population 2021 will be in full harmony with international recommendations and in line with the Actis Communautaire, which includes methodology, rankings and procedures for collecting data in various fields, among other things demographic and social statistics. Krasniqi made these comments at the conclusion of the conference week of the Kosovo Population Record 2021) where Krasniqi has provided detailed clarifications for preparations for the census of 2021 in Kosovo, as well as the importance and exploitation of these data, both in terms of statistical comparison, accuracy, survey and production in time, offering to the Government of Kosovo, municipalities and local governments on one side and the EU, IMF, World Bank, etc., on the other hand.
Meanwhile, a detailed presentation on the planning of activities for realising the 2021 population census and the budget plan distributed over the next five years was presented by Social Statistics Department Director Avni Kastrati.
Among the other topics discussed at the conference were the methods of applying for field data collection (CAPI); the presentation of questionnaires; and the presentation for communication and sensibility.
