Kosovo police announce they will impose fines for those who ignore road traffic rules for winter equipment.
With the beginning of the winter season, communication risk increases, and police appeal to citizens for increased care, but also that vehicles prepare with necessary winter equipment. The law on road traffic rules envisions penalties for drivers who during the winter -- the period involving the time between November 15th and March 15th -- driving their vehicles without winter equipment”, Kosovo Police spokesman Bajram Krasniqi told Radio Kosovo.
On the other hand, drivers interviewed by RK say they are aware that in the winter season, they are obliged to change their tires but also to provide other equipment necessary for this season.
According to the Administrative Guide for Winter Equipment, drivers should have winter equipment for passenger vehicles and transport vehicles, winter tires, and chains on attractive wheels.
