Osmani, in a post in her Facebook account, has written that with her they have discussed victims of sexual violence during the war in Kosovo, how their cause for justice should be turned into the mission of each institution.
Among other things, she has said she has agreed that it is unacceptable for the United Nations to completely ignore civilian victims of the war in Kosovo.
Even though 20 years after the war, about 20 thousand victims of sexual violence during the war in Kosovo still found no justice, since none of these perpetrators were tried and sentenced. Today, with this year's Nobelist Denis Mukwege, we discussed how the cause for justice of these heroin must be turned into a mission for each of us and our institutions. We agreed that it is unacceptable that the United Nations completely ignore the civilian victims of Kosovo's war in published reports concerning violations survivors during the war”, Osmani wrote.
