The monastery shuts down: The nun falls in love with a man

Sister Maria Teresa was forced to leave her promises and her dedication to God because of a relationship. So the monastery should be closed because of lack of staff:

Earthly love this time won over love of God!

Despite trying to fight this love, there was nothing more to do. Chief Maria Teresa Sackent fell in love with one man, and for that she was expelled from the monastery of San Bernardo Tolomei of Sansselpoltro, in Aretino. That's why this monastery is forced to close because of the “staff shortage”.

But the nun had been very energetic and had given life to this ancient monastery.

Whatever I'm suffering, no one understands it, it will mark me for life“, she told the La Republic media.

Her love story, in fact, could have been interrupted by its own will, Sister Maria Teresa, because of her dedication to God, but that did not happen. Although her efforts to reject earthly love were maximum, she could not return afterward.

Sister Maria Teresa will return to other women who are common in the secular world, even though it's not clear, whether it's Mary Teresa's own will, or there's someone else who decided that.

According to her, history is more painful than a story of love with a happy ending:

What I'm experiencing will change my whole life, and it will be difficult for me to go back to church, now”, she tells the media.

What is certain, however, is that the ancient monastery of the Campikina Fathers of Sansepoltro, after a long renovation followed by Sister Teresa, had become a reference point for the community of the area.

Not only a spiritual center and hospitality but also a meeting place for everyone.

“People are crying about the monastery being closed, and I'm also crying“. Says Sister Teresa.

The local Archbishop also admits that history is painful and that they cannot discuss the details of this love relationship.

The “is a very painful thing for the people involved in this story”, the area Archbishop agrees.

Sister Teresa, however, because of her earthly love, will end up in an incarnate nun.
