Political analyst Faton Abdullahu has estimated that the failure of the 6 October elections should be no excuse for not speeding up the process of negotiations on creating the new government.
He has said the new charter for the presidential post complicates negotiations between LV and LDK.
In this interview given to the newspaper “The new age”, he has stated that no suggestion of our international partners is being taken into account, that the government should be created as soon as possible, tax suspended and immediately resume dialogue with Serbia.
However, even if the government is formed with the LV-IDK coalition, Abdullah has voiced scepticism about its functioning because of the principled, ideological and strategic differences these two political subjects have.
