Vetevendosje Movement Chairman Albin Kurti, today, has stayed in Durres, exactly in areas affected by the earthquake.
He has also met representatives of the police and the military, while in a statement to the media he said aid is required from the institutions of Albania and Kosovo to avoid humanitarian crisis.
For us to have no elements of any humanitarian crisis, institutions in both Kosovo and Central and local Albania should help Albanians indiscriminately as many as”, Kurti said.
He added that we should help and support each other in these difficult times.
The “Local countries will help with better statistics, while the people are doing the work of generosity and hospitality. The people are showing solidarity and it will take institutions and governments to organize this as well. It doesn't have to fall into commitment because it might seem that the risk has fallen”, Kurti said.
