At Lagen 18, near the stadium in Durres, in a building from which about six victims have been unearthed, is supposed to be inside. There are also the rescue search units and K-9 KSK units.
Captain Nysret Buzhala in an interview for Kosova Prerss says the KSF, along with Albania's responsible institutions and other allies, has managed to raise many victims, but also live persons.
“What the Kosovo Security Force has accomplished together with the responsible security and intervention institutions in the Republic of Albania, but also other allies, is the extraction of many victims from the ruins, but also fortunately some people still alive. Above all, the KSF has reached level of co-operation in emergency cases such as many international allies, or various armies”, he said.
He pointed to the capacity the KSF currently has in Albania, while stressing that the KSF is ready for additional assistance.
The current capacity of the Kosovo Security Force in Albania is divided into two groups. It means we have the primary capacity of the search for salvation, which has been divided into a man's search for rescue, the K-9 we call a sniffing dog for victims, and we have surveillance cameras in different holes inside the rubble, to identify or see if there are any victims, or one living inside the ruins. But as seen from the back to begin with or pull is increased risk, so it should start or assess the situation, make preliminary assessments before the start of the rock intervention, or large rocks preventing victims from extracting”, he added.
