Kosovo took over the leadership of the South East European Regional Development Work Group.
This was done at the annual meeting of the ministers of agriculture of Southeast European countries, which is being held for the second time in Pristina, through which information is aimed at achieving and drafting concrete plans for developing this area.
Acting Minister of Forestry and Rural Development in Kosovo Dijana Dzwiq said Kosovo institutions will work to strengthen co-operation next year, as well as at the upcoming working groups meeting to be talked only about good results.
Meanwhile, the director of Rural Development with the European Commission, Mario Milouchev, after congratulateing Kosovo for taking over the one-year leadership of this working group, said that through this group it could be discussed about shaping relevant rural policies.
Milouchev said the European Commission failed to reach agreement on the start of negotiations with Northern Macedonia and Albania, but that EU pledges, according to him, are due to the Western Balkans, remain the same.
He asked that all states' energy unite to overcome obstacles.
