Kosovo has come to the aid of Albanians not only with special unit forces in search-of-saving and food operations.
But they also offered shelter. One of the Kosovo residents currently located in Durres said buses and private cars have come to Albania for the capture of families affected by the earthquake and sending to Kosovo.
He said that housing in Kosovo will be offered to all families that need and have the capacity for all, as Kosovars have opened the doors for them.
“400-500 people were sent there yesterday. Some have come by buses, while others in private cars from Kosovo have come to get families. We have capacity for as many as there is. We've got 1200 families so far that they've been notified within 24 hours of family shelter. Everyone has told of two or three families waiting for them there. No matter how many people we can find a place. Most will be accommodated in the family,” he said./oranews/Illuture photo: Florian Goga, Reuters.
