At least ten people have been killed and another 25 have been injured by the explosion of a bomb car Saturday in the Syrian border town of Tel Abyad.
This town has faced fierce fighting since the launch of the Turkish offensive at the border belt between the two countries on 9 October against Kurdish forces in northeast Syria.
Saturday's blast also caused considerable material damage. In published online images, heavy smoke was seen in the sky after this explosion.
Syrian Human Rights Monitor said that among the victims of the blast were four civilians of the same family. Local residents said the Kurdish forces have caused this explosion.
Similar blasts often occur in residential areas near Turkey's border, which are controlled by forces supported by Turkish forces, writes “Reuters”, broadcast Express Journal.
