Before “display Skenderbeu” in Pristina have gathered many citizens who will march directly to the State Prosecutor.
Astrit Dehari was initially arrested as suspected of attacking Kosovo's Parliament along with several other members of the Vetevendosje Movement.
He died while in custody in Prizren prison. The case of members of the Vetevendosje Movement has turned into retrial, but the date has not yet been set.
Astrit Dehar's family lawyer, Tome Gashi, has yesterday announced through a post in Facebook that he has asked the Kosovo Special Prosecutor to issue a ruling on the development of investigations in terms of the discovery of suicide Movement activists.
“From the Special Prosecutor of the Republic of Kosovo is required to issue a ruling on the development of investigations into the discovery of Astrit Dehar (a heavy murder by Article 173 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kosovo) assassinations (Nani 33 of the KKP), of those who have concealed the murder for three years and of those who have assisted in any form the carrying out of the criminal act of murder (Noni 33 of the KK), and of all those who have committed the criminal act of the Dehar killing in the joint criminal act of the attack (KKK), the lawyer, Gashi.
He has also demanded that all of the subject documents that were sent to the Swiss Institute of Legal Medicine in Lozanne, which has come to a conclusion in the 58-page report, that the odds are small for Dehar to have killed himself in prison.
It also says that DNA tests conducted at the Swiss Institute's laboratory have released a DNA profile of the deceased, even though Kosovo experts have reportedly contained little or very little DNA.
We have doubts about the circumstances of Astrit Dehar's death. In fact, the hypothesis of an Astrit Dehar suicide through the means appointed by legal doctors seems a little real and the intervention of a third person in the fatal process should be taken into account. From what was said, we appreciate that a new investigation is necessary to clarify the circumstances of Astrit Dehar's death. Our teams and our labs are available to investigators in charge of the” case, said in the report.
