Hoti shows where they cannot reconcile VV's LDK

So stated former Finance Minister Avdullah Hoti.

The member of the LDK leadership states that the formula for separation of ministerial posts has not been discussed. This issue, according to him, is up to two political leaders to agree on a formula to divide the resorts to ensure the responsibilities, not power, but the responsibilities that the two subjects will have within the ruling coalition.

“Ende has not been discussed with the division of resorts, what has been done is for the government, is reducing ministries from 21 to 12. We have not even arrived within the Democratic League of Kosovo at this point whether I will be the minister of finance, because we still don't know which candidates will be led by the Democratic League, and then there are internal discussions of the chairman with headship and other structures within the Democratic League for people who will represent the LDK in the government. But they're definitely going to be the competent people to lead the resources they belong to... Therefore, we have more than enough and better profiles for all resources, but now it depends on how the responsibilities will be shared and then we put together”, he says.

The former finance minister says the 2020 budget will make the new government, which will be the continuation of projects that were launched in the early years.

Hoti adds that what is now being done is agreeing with the governing programme for economic development, fiscal policy, education, health and all other policies, and it is natural that from this governing budget-to-be budgetary programme for 2020 and for years to come.

The “should all be clear, because everything doesn't start from zero, and the 2020 budget will include the obligations that were created in the past years, which will be a continuation of projects that have been launched or various obligations that state institutions have. What is clear is that the 2020 budget will be made by the new government and approved by the new assembly of the Republic of Kosovo”, Hoti declares.

Although Hoti had criticism of the CEC in stalling the certificate of election results and asked the institution as soon as the will of citizens issued on October 6th is certified, he believes there may be new governments within this month.

“I hope so. There's no reason why. I hope in the moments we have certified results, we're willing to move quickly. Let's call the assembly meeting and normally it's up to the first party to move this process” forward, says Hoti.
