Two young boys lost their lives after they fell into large cooking pots boiling. Events occurred in two different incidents.
The three-year-old boy was playing when he fell into the cooking pot where he was cooking Sambhar during a family party for opening a store on November 18th in Shabad.
Sambhar is a seasoning vegetable herblet, based on lentils that consume much in southern India.
The boy accidentally moved the lid that covered the pot and fell inside. He was immediately taken to the hospital but lost his life from his wounds.
While on another occasion, a six-year-old child in the garden fell into a sambahar pot at a school in the village of Panyam.
Two people, including the school principal, are being investigated by police for neglect of the death of Behlapuram Reddy.
Reddy hurried along with her classmates in the dining room at lunchtime. When he went inside, he fell into the boiling pot.
None of the school authorities were available at that moment. Some local workers pulled him out of the pot and took him to the hospital. He couldn't survive the wound either.
