Germany's Foreign Minister criticises Macroni for statements regarding NATO

These comments come at a time when Washington is pressing NATO member states to pay more for protection.
France's President Emmanuel Macron told The Economist that <x0 NATO has died”, suggesting that Europe should take over the security issue and should not depend on the United States to protect its allies.
