Negotiations between LVV and LDK for forming the government are on track. Yesterday the parties agreed on forming the State Bureau of Investigation and agreed on issues that would be handled with priorities from this office as well:
- The investigation into the tender worth about 300 thousand euros, which Hakki Rugova has given to the company led by his brother, Gani Rugova.
- The investigation of Mytaher Haskuka, who has given nothing less than four tenders with thousands of euros to the father of the head of the Vetevendosje Assembly Group in Prizren, Adem Shabanaj.
- Xhafer Tahiri's investigation into the vicinity of his brother recording, taking bribes for construction permits in Vushtrri.
- The investigation into the Molotov bottle attacks and other combat means against the property of the LDK chairman in Pristina and Assiste.
- The investigation into 72 corruption files of former Pristina President Isa Mustafa.
- The investigation into illegal employment of nearly 500 VV militants in the Pristina municipality.
These are priority subjects to be examined and investigated by the State Bureau of Investigation.
We remember that Arben Gashi from the LDK has clarified the function of the State Bureau of Investigation.
The idea is that a large number of existing Task Forces are structures that are not co-ordinated among themselves and that the cases investigated are lost in the process or system and lost in the legal deadline or in the quality of the investigation”.
The “not to repeat this problem and eliminate the existence of a host of Task Forces is thought to be built within the framework of the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council and in co-operation with the Judiciary Council and the Kosovo Police. So the State Investigation Office must have at least four major departments”, Gashi concludes.
