Export applications for European animal products export increase

Food and Veterinary Agency spokesman Lamir Thaci says they are under way to enable all businesses to export animal products to Europe.

We as authorities are under way to enable all our export producers to EU. There have been applications and we still expect to have business operator applications because the rules define it and we will be on the move and we will try to get every business operator that submits the application there to respond to the part of our legal mandate and I believe very often we will have a business operator producing animal-born products that will be exported to the EU”.

According to him, products of plant origin are only being regularly traded and certificate issued by AUV.

“Products of plant origin are being traded fairly and are being traded with certificates that are issued by the Food and Veterinary Agency and their trade so far have gone everything according to the needs or requirements that operators and businesses have presented and we have had no case of suspicion in our products, he said in a prononism for Online Economy.

But Kosovo has had many problems with meat imported from abroad. Thousands of tons were even destroyed because of their questionable origin, with the deadline, but also the rotten meat.

AUV spokesman also cited the meat of the broken offerings of the Islamic Community of Kosovo (BIK).

Thaci says the total amount of meat that has been eliminated in these locations is 32,000 and 100 kilos.
