Durres is one of the most affected cities by the powerful earthquake that affected Albania on the morning of November 26, which resulted in the loss of 50 people and injured hundreds more.
Top Channel journalists have reported live minutes by minute all the dynamics of last day's events and have closely affected the ruins and concerns of residents.
On the broadcast live of “Endition Marathon”, journalist Vali Qyrfucci was with a group of residents near the train station in Durres. Residents unanimously say that they are very concerned and that no aid has come to them so far, adding that they are in a difficult financial and psychological situation.
“We are in a difficult situation, our homes are damaged. They may look like pretty on the outside, but looking inside of them is completely ruined. We've heard the prime minister that the working groups will be on the ground to assess the damage, but so far we haven't been offered any help. We socialize with the victims and feel very sorry for them, but for us psychologically affected victims who think” have finished their word.
