An old man lost his life after being hit by electricity as he was using an electric pump to remove water. Later, another person's body was found in his home.
The authorities said that more than 85 percent of the city has been affected by floods, including historic areas and some squares. Although the water began to decline, a new flood is expected in the evening.
The unusual waves reached an altitude of 1,87m, while authorities activated the alarm of flows near the city's canals.
