Kosovo's Security Force is continuing to co-operate with Albania and other state teams, in search of people left in ruins from powerful earthquakes that hit the country Tuesday morning.
At Lagen 18, near the stadium in Durres, in a building from which about six victims have been unearthed, is supposed to be inside. There are also the rescue search units and K-9 KSK units. Captain Nysret Buzhala in an interview says the KSF, along with Albania's responsible institutions and other allies, has managed to raise many victims, but also live persons.
He pointed to the capacity the KSF currently has in Albania, while stressing that the KSF is ready for additional assistance.
The current capacity of the Kosovo Security Force in Albania is divided into two groups. It means we have the primary capacity of the search for salvation, which has been divided into a man's search for rescue, the K-9 we call a sniffing dog for victims, and we have surveillance cameras in different holes inside the rubble, to identify or see if there are any victims, or one living inside the ruins.
