The Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo has denied information published on social networks about bank trading TEBS from Russian businessmen.
The CBK says there has never been a request for the exchange of capital share of this bank, which from the start is owned by BNP Paribas Fortis Yatırımlar Holding A.how. and Carlakoğlu Group Joint Venture.
“Banca TEB along with other banks that are licensed have played and are playing a very important role in creating a secure and sound financial system that has contributed to the country's economic growth and promotion of external investments, especially in the financial sector. The Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo assures all citizens that the entire financial sector is secure and has no room for concern. The CEC, as financial system supervisor, will continue to work on maintaining a secure and sound financial system and constantly improve the economic environment, in which the financial industry operates”, said the BEC communiqué.
