Board PTK reacts after new Z-Mobile indictment

Kosovo's Board of Directors of Telecom has reacted after the indictment filed by Dardafon.net ( Z-Mobile) saying it will also commit to arbitration in arbitration to be professional and to testify to the damage caused by the latter.

This Decision of The PTK comes after an urgent gathering held today by the Board of Telecom together with Management, where the next steps of response in the indictment and procedure have been addressed.

Kosovo's Telekom has accepted from the International Chamber of Commerce International Chamber of Command (ICC), the Dardanon.net announcement ( Z-Mobile) has filed the indictment against Kosovo Telekom, this in terms of non-resistance of the 2009 Mobile Virtual Operator (MVNO) (Agreement to MVNO).

The report received by the ICC explains that Dardafon.net has requested that a Security Mass be issued in such a way as to continue the agreement with the MVNO and continue providing services to Z-Mobile clients, and that Kosovo Telecom pay off compensation.

The Telekom board has held an emergency meeting today with the date 02 November 2019, this together with Management, where the next steps of response to the indictment and procedure have been addressed.

The Board of Directors provides the shareholder, the union, and the public that all actions undertaken regarding the non-resistance of the MSA's currency deadline with Z-Mobile are taken overall: a) In accordance with the applicable law, and b) in line with financial data and international technical experts that have suggested not to continue this contract.

The key factor in the Board of Directors' decision not to follow up on the SAA Agreement under the same conditions has been the International Financial and Technical Experts' Report, which has been quantified tens of millions of damages on annual grounds from the Z-Mobile contract. Also, the Board of Directors is based on the opinion of legal experts on the possibility of not following the contract.

Over these circumstances, it has been clear that the decision not to implement the contract with Z Mobile has been made in the benefit of Telekom and citizens. In this direction, the Board of Directors will commit to even representation in arbitration being professional and to testify to the damage caused by Z.
