Farmers seek more respect for the work they do, and about 10,000 people are expected to participate in a protest at Brandenburg Gate, blocking roads with about 2,000 tractors.
They added that Julia Kloeckner, Minister of Agriculture and a member of the ruling democrat government, will address farmers Tuesday.
Berlin's current agricultural and environmental policies are undermining Germany's economic power and social harmony”, organisers said.
They noted that farmers are critical of the government's agricultural policy, which includes measures to protect the environment and insects, and in limiting waste use.
