Berisha: PDK to be constructive opposition

It has been more than 6 weeks since the election outcome and there is still no certificate of results. This was due to some irregularities that were identified during the counting process. But also the problems in the forms produced by the CEC. All these MPs' candidate from the ranks of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, Hysen Berisha, [...]

All of these Democratic Party of Kosovo deputy candidate Hysen Berisha is assessing as elements that hurt the entire election process.

In an interview for Economy Online, Berisha says institutions released as a result of the 6 October elections by such a warped process will not be creditable.

“The counting process, then the findings which were presented itself by the CEC chairman. Daka, they're talking about a criminalised process, because what it's addressed, whether it's produced wrong, whether it's the actions of commissioners that have damaged many votes. Forty thousand votes are almost one party's votes passed the threshold, but even if the actions of local leaders, different party branches, the organisation of commissioners for voting damage, as criminalised elements then bring into question the credibility of institutions that will be built by these” elections, it says.

Despite events during the recounting and recounting process, Hyseni says the party from him wants the new institutions to be established as soon as possible. And that's why it says that if the VV and LDK need their votes, they're willing to give it.

“We as the subject have our position if it comes to driving for symbolic number of votes within parliament, the chairman of the parliament The PDK has declared that if it comes for one vote I will only back the institutions. I personally think these institutions should be done. We will try to be constructive opposition, support the political process on all common topics that are open to all of Kosovo, and is understood to make opposition policies on topics related to the welfare and other issues of the welfare of citizens within Kosovo”, he says.

Berisha warned that they will stay Stoic in respect to the Kosovo Constitution and that they will only support a possible agreement with Serbia, which guarantees the borders with which Kosovo was recognised by more than 100 states of the world.

It says the trend for border correction leads to unexpected developments throughout the Balkans.

“Talks with Serbia with the goal of having a change of borders, corrections, exchanges, etc., topics that have been launched as public gossip, while there is no firm position of the US that is sponsor of Kosovo's war, freedom and statehood. I consider all these trends to divert Kosovo from the major compromise that has reached independent state for Kosovo, with something that would undo Kosovo as a state. Then the opening of these topics will also lead the region to other developments that will no longer save any country of Albanian neighbours”, he says.

Former Kosovo War Commander in this interview for Economy Online has also commented on the initiative of neighbouring countries to form a platform called Mini-Sengen. He is considering this idea dangerous and to the detriment of Kosovo.

“Tendence to create new union states that are now calling mini-sengen are a resurface against closure that French President Macron declared. Initiative states of this mini-marken by failing to meet the standards with which they could be part of Europe opened a new theme now of creating a mini-sengen, which would include the countries of the region including Kosovo”, he says.

Berisha says without recognition from Serbia, Kosovo's representation on this platform is impossible, and is blaming Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama as well.

Kosovo and Serbia will regulate the state report in its midst, so Serbia must recognise Kosovo as a state or Kosovo must give up its citizenship and join Serbia or Albania otherwise there is no chance of being a signatory party at a time that it does not recognise as a state and has as part of it, and a phase that it is presenting and that Kosovo may be unintelligible and that the prime minister of Albania comes out and speaks to us with the theory of tomatoes how Kosovo should be and how Kosovo is isolating itself, he says.

Mini-sengen is being rejected by all political leaders in the country.
