In northern Syria an attack killed five people and injured several others, according to Britain's Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.
The observatory said that among the dead in the village of Bara were three children who were brothers among themselves, the AP writes.
Idlib, the last major rebel fortress in Syria, is dominated by Hayat Tarhrir al-Sham members who are linked to al-Qaida.
A ceasefire halted the government's offensive to Idlib in late August, but in recent days, opposition activists have reported shootings and air strikes in the area.
