Can't even get 800 votes, Mustafa continues working on visits abroad

Acting Interior Minister Ekrem Mustafa has received only 774 votes in the 6 October elections. This disturbing figure, however, is not halting it towards obligations as minister in office. Mustafa took part in the Salzburg ministerial, which is taking place in Vienna (Auto). The ministerial features members of the Salzburg Forum and friendly countries, among them Kosovo, Albania, Montenegro, Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The issue of illegal migration, border control, fighting smuggling with migrants and other security issues was discussed in this Forum.
At this meeting, which is being led by Austria's Interior Minister, Mr. Wolfgang Peschorn, Minister Mustafa stressed the need for co-operation among Western Balkan states, countries of migrants' origin, as well as at the level of the European Union.
Mustafa announced countries participating in actions that have been undertaken in managing the influx of migrants, as well as police actions in combating smuggling with immigrants.
During the conference, Mustafa faced several times with the Serbian Interior Ministry representative, who, using the mentality of the Milosevic regime, tried to present Kosovo children recently returned from Syria as terrorists and dangerous to the region and Europe.
Mustafa called on the Serbian representative to refrain from false statements that incite hatred and not get involved in the internal affairs of the Republic of Kosovo.
The Serbian representative remained lonely in her failed efforts to expose other falsehoods, as she was no longer told and received no support from those present.
Acting Minister Mustafa announced that the return of 110 citizens from Syria, out of them 74 children and 32 women, has set a new standard, and with this the Republic of Kosovo has shown its commitment to taking over state responsibilities. He also stressed that for this operation the Republic of Kosovo has been highly praised by the US, the European Union and international organisations.
The Salzburg Forum is a Central European security partnership of Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Slovakia and Slovenia.
At this forum, member states co-operate in areas of police co-operation, illegal immigration, witness protection, the fight against drugs, safety in traffic and other areas of internal security. They also focus on co-ordinating positions and advancing common interests in the European Union in the area of internal security.
