This data has been released on news.net by Kosovo police.
Kosovo Police spokesman Daut Hoxha has said that during the last 24 hours alone, three fatal accidents have occurred, 27 with injuries and 28 with material damage.
The Kosovo police require commitment and vigilance from all, including institutions and traffic participants, in particular added care is required by drivers and vehicles themselves, so that fatal accidents can be reduced.
Kosovo Police Appeal:
Kosovo's “Police have consistently undertaken active measures in the functioning of greater security on our streets, with all activities to prevent accidents from happening by police, media campaigns, operational plans and legal measures against criminals, the loss of human lives in traffic accidents remains a major concern for all of us, so to influence the reduction of fatal accidents and loss of human lives requires commitment and vigilance by all, including institutions and participants in traffic, in particular it is required increased caution by its drivers. Respecting traffic law, including speed limit, adapting to road vehicles, not using alcohol while driving, greater concentration while driving, and avoiding phone use during driving should be taken into account for preventing accidents. Police are continuing and will continue to take rigorous legal measures and will be tolerant of the actions of all those leaders who conflict with the traffic law and risk the safety of other participants, with the sole purpose of preventing fatal accidents”.
