For 24 hours three dead in traffic accidents

The leading cause of these incidents is estimated to have been the carelessness of executives, the loss of control over vehicles, the use of alcohol, and so on.

Kosovo Police spokesman Daut Hoxha has said that during the last 24 hours alone, three fatal accidents have occurred, 27 with injuries and 28 with material damage.

The Kosovo police require commitment and vigilance from all, including institutions and traffic participants, in particular added care is required by drivers and vehicles themselves, so that fatal accidents can be reduced.

Respecting traffic law, including speed limit, adapting to road vehicles, not using alcohol while driving, greater concentration while driving, and avoiding phone use during driving should be taken into account for preventing accidents. Police are continuing and will continue to take rigorous legal measures and will be tolerant of the actions of all those leaders who conflict with the traffic law and risk the safety of other participants, with the sole purpose of preventing fatal accidents”.
