Meanwhile, the Turkish vice president told Sky News that Turkey will not be removed from military operations and no ceasefire with Kurdish forces in Syria will be discussed.
“You cannot negotiate with terrorists”, Fuat Oktai said. “is not realistic, and our partners in Europe and NATO should change the” position, he added.
The US, meanwhile, has promised strict sanctions on Turkey if it does not take ceasefire measures. /tch
