The translator of the Astrit Dehar report, Ismail Ismail has been declared for Signal Journal in connection to Public Criticism directed to him, for the poor level of Albanian translation of the report in Dehari case and inaccuracy in interpretation of content compared to the original version.
He has admitted eventual errors, complaining that there is not enough time to translate the report. According to him, he accepted the report on October 18th, a day after Prizren's chief prosecutor's conference, Admir Shala, where he announced he has accepted the report by Swiss authorities.
I got the document last Friday. There's somewhere from 60 pages. I had to translate as soon as possible. I know that when you hurry you can't be punctual, you can't be fair in your interpretation, but I'm trying to give it as much as I could. If I had had at least a week's time, the report would have been precisely properly folded”, Ismaili told the Signal Gazette.
He has falsely described the accusations against him as having also had a tendency to distort translation.
I'm trying to bend as I have day, and it's best without any insulin that they call what I'm supposed to be. God save us, hand in heart for that family that has always tried to do some sort of tendency is out of my mind outside of my act that I have never done, it's Ismaili for Signal Gazette.
Ismaili has made it known that the Albanian version published in the media is his and that there was no interference from anyone. He said that his translation of the report ended the day before his surrender to the Dehari family.
No point or wait who didn't get in it, because I haven't been out of the apartment four days. I could only turn it around and make it ready for those who asked me fast. I delivered it on Wednesday at 1:15x1.
He added that the report was not literaryly translated but into scientific, literal.
The scientific report should be translated almost word for word. I have not dared to interpret the claims of forensic experts”, Ismaili said.
The translator and the judicial interpreter, Ismail Ismaili, says he has been engaging in translations since 1995. He has announced that he has performed the faculty in 1979 in Pristina.
