Kosovo President Hashim Thaci has hosted Finland's ambassador to Pristina, Pia Styernvall, with whom he has talked about developments in our country today.

Thaci said Kosovo has developed an exemplary electoral process and that he now expects the formation of the new government.

“After an exemplary electoral process, I expect soon to form the new government and continue on the path towards Euro-Atlantic integration”, President Thaci said.

Ambassador Sterenvall stressed that Finland supports the European perspective of Kosovo and the entire Western Balkans.

President Thaci added that it is important that the support of EU member states, for all Western Balkan countries, not waver.

Kosovo has no alternative other than EU membership”, the President Thaci concluded.
