This happened at the Materniadade Hospital Dona Evangelin Rosa in Teresina, located in the state of Piaui in northeast Brazil.

The president of the Union of Doctors, Samuel Moreira Rego, confirmed through social media that his colleagues were using light on their mobile phones when energy failure occurred.

“Until when managers will neglect the public health system? Doctors are overloaded. They work under stress to save someone”, Rego said.
