People within the mall have been evacuated and public transportation has stopped working.
Police said there are no reports of casualties, and that anti-terrorism officers are leading the investigation. A man in his 40s was arrested under suspicion of serious assault.
A police spokesman confirmed that the five injured persons were taken to the hospital.
“at this early stage, we are keeping open the motive of this horrific” incident, he said.
