On July 16th, Tehran admitted to having arrested French-Iranian anthropologist Fariba Adelkhah, stressing that her file was being investigated in detail by the judiciary, in accordance with the country's laws.
However, the newspaper “Le Figaro” announced yesterday that another scholar, Roland Marchal, was detained traveling with him.
