China has offered support to Serbia to reject Kosovo's admission to INTERPOL.
Serbia's Minister of Internal Affairs Nebojsa Stefanovic has met in Chile with Don Daqi, the chief of the delegation of China at the INTERPOL General Assembly, announcing with Serbia's arguments against Kosovo's accession to INTERPOL, Serbian media report, broadcast news.net.
Stefanovic has stressed that Kosovo's possible accession could bring major divisions in the international police organisation, jeopardising its future war on crime in the world.
Stefanovic, who leads Serbia's delegation to the 88th ITERPOL General Assembly in Santiago, has said that Kosovo's possible accession would bring in INTERPOL's misuse and that politics would replace police work.
He has commemorated that the large number of INTERPOL member states last year at the Dubai Assembly opposed Kosovo's accession, and that the delegates present are facing unpleasant situations after just 11 months to vote on the same topic, reports the news.net.
China delegation chief Don Daqi has confirmed China's support for Serbia's territorial integrity and their unchanged stance on Kosovo's application for admission to INTERPOL.
Stefanovic has also stressed that Serbia supports China's policy.
