Chairman The PDK) in Skenderaj, Sami Lushtaku has been addressed with a message of PDK sympathisers, saying the parliament's election has not yielded the results this party has expected.

This is his post:

Dear members and sympathies of the Democratic Party of Kosovo,

The 6 October parliamentary elections held yesterday have not yielded the results we have expected. Alternative power is an essential part of democracy, then when the sovereign decides otherwise and we should fully respect his will.

I want to thank Drenica citizens for the massive plebiscite support for PDK, even in these elections. However, this has not been enough to win elections at the country level. Now, we have to look at ourselves, to improve our mistakes, to reform and consolidate, in order for the PDK to return even more powerful than it has been in the past.

Thank you for all citizens, party members, volunteers, election staff, commissioners and observers, for the hard work and commitment that have shown the PDK to become a convincing winner in Skenderaj and Drenica.

I am grateful for your lifelong trust in me and the Democratic Party of Kosovo. SL
