Up to five years in prison can take all persons who clash with the Criminal Code, and who misuse the vote, today on Election Day in Kosovo.
Admir Shala, chief prosecutor of the Constitutional Prosecutor in Prizren, has said nine prosecutors have been committed to following the election process in the Prizren region.
Those who conflict with the Penal Code will be punished. They're going to have problems with employment and career development. Punishments range up to five years in prison. Citizens must be careful, otherwise they will have severe sentences”, he.
Meanwhile, the State Prosecutor has earlier announced the opinion that they are carefully conveying the election process, which is being held today for the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo.
Through a communiqué to the media, the State Prosecutor has suggested that by seven o'clock in the morning of today, about 100 prosecutors and support staff are engaged, who will closely monitor the prosperity of the election process and are in a position to react in any case where there is obstruction of the voting process.
The state prosecutor, with the aim of preventing any irregularities related to vote rights, invites citizens, media and civil society to co-operate and report to police and Prosecution all claims of misuse of the vote”, the Prosecutor's Community says.
