President Thaci is informed by Daka, Lumezi and Maxhun of investigations into the CEC workers' case

The president of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaci, has been hosting the CEC President Valdete Daka, Chief of State Alexander Lumez and AKI Director Shpend Maxhuni, who have informed him of the results of the investigation about reports of poisoning of KEC workers, who had contact with the envelopes coming from outside Kosovo in the voter service object where the diaspora's votes were placed.
President Thaci called on state institutions for the case to be investigated to the end.
“Requesting state institutions to professionally investigate the entire case and to take all necessary steps to white out allegations of poisoning CEC personnel”, President Thaci has said.
He said it is encouraging that all responsible institutions have taken appropriate measures.
Representatives of state institutions announced that an examination of envelope samples taken at the Voters' Service is expected to be completed.
The extraditions, according to them, will take place together with international experts.
President Thaci invited the content until the investigation ended.
“I hope for content from political statements and unconfirmed reporting until the outcome of investigations”, President Thaci said.
