The Kosovo Special Police Unit last night has held an action aimed at raiding several locals in southern Mitrovica.
Police during the operation have seized documents of persons without regular permission to stay in Kosovo for proceedings to further the case.
The news has confirmed the Kosovo Police, which has said this action has been undertaken in order to take pro-active measures through the Directorate for Trafficking in Human Being Investigation.
The October 2019 Operational Operations Directorate, carried out by the Directorate for Trafficking in Human Being, has been implemented at the national level and assessed as a successful operation based on the effect and the outcome given, where several locals have been checked and closed, seized means to change cold weapons, and several foreign citizens have been identified working without work permits:x1>, says the Kosovo Police Report.
The event has been undertaken in co-operation with ATK inspectors, labour inspectors and Mitrovica municipality inspectors, who have been casting ballots for irregularities found during the raid.
