In response given by the Kosovo Police Inspectorate (IPK) for the newspaper “Bota today”, a police official and a citizen allegedly committed the same criminal work “task chamber” were reportedly arrested in the background.
The “Operation coded with the name “Haraci” was implemented today around 11:00 in Pristina, where IPK investigators have arrested two suspects, one police official who has been serving in the Special Operations Unit and another suspect a citizen.
The IPK had initially accepted information regarding these allegations and had launched a preliminary investigation. Following the company of several investigative actions and the confirmation of accepted information, IPK investigators have continued the investigation into co-ordination with the Pristina Constitutional Prosecutor, including the implementation of classified investigation measures based on the prosecution's ordinance”, the IPK response reported.
Also, in the IPK's response, the prosecution has reportedly imposed a 48-hour ban on the two persons arrested.
