Radovic told Tanjug that the overall assessment of the security situation in northern Kosovo is characterised as <x0 secondary>”.

The election process will be managed by the Central Election Commission (KQZ), and Kosovo police are engaged in security,” said Radovic.

He stressed that a sufficient and optimum number of police officers in northern Kosovo will be employed tomorrow, as well as a number of police officers from other regional directors to help.

The “Police will work closely with all relevant actors to ensure that elections are held smoothly and successfully implement the operational plan,” said Radovic.

He called on citizens and urged them to co-operate during election day, so that everything goes according to plan, broadcasts the news.net.

The early parliamentary elections in Kosovo on Sunday, with about 1.9 million voters, out of whom 117,808 are from Serb majority municipalities. 58,187 are registered as voters in four municipalities in northern Kosovo.
