In a communiqué sent to the media, the Initiative reports that on the basis of counting fair votes will be part of the Kosovo Assembly.
On the other hand, the worrying Initiative has conveyed developments yesterday, where, unexpectedly and by not respecting legal procedures, irregular votes coming from Serbia have been held in the QNR and numbered.
“Social Democratism estimates that the QNR has violated the law when it opened the doors to illegal votes from Serbia, accepting them without legal assessment as to whether or not they are fair and without the CEC's decision. In its October 11th voter service division report abroad, in its report The CEC has identified a mountain of irregularities for these votes coming from Serbia”, said among other things in this communiqué.
The “Starting with what they didn't come through the mail and were not posted just as the law for voting by mail is envisioned, but they were carried into packages and brought to post number 6 in Pristina, down to the arrival of these votes collected in the packages, where the latest package has 157 envelopes, as the report says, while the largest package has 238 envelopes”.
Furthermore, the Initiative says more than 2000 votes have come to 19 packages that are in full opposition to the Law for Elections number 03L 073 provisions 97 points 1.
“Then with many irregularities such as identical envelopes each with a sign. In addition to these legal irregularities, when we add that the investigation for these votes has been opened due to suspicion of poisoning, which we have seen human consequences. There are dozens of officials who have sought medical assistance and the prosecution's investigation has been opened, and despite all of this, without a final report by the Prosecutor for Investigation, those votes have been submitted to”.
The initiative doubts that someone is interested in smuggling these illegal votes to disrupt the election process directly affecting the election outcome and to distort the will of Kosovo's citizens.
“NISMA calls on the CEC to carry out its constitutional duty as the main authority in respecting its law and regulation in the fair administration of this election process and not allow through the trafficking of unfair votes to distort the will of Kosovo citizens expressed in free elections. The initiative is continuing to conduct every step of this process and will engage in the will of over 40 thousand of our voters not to be deformed by anyone”, the Initiative communiqué concludes.
