The Vetevendosje movement with the Democratic League of Kosovo at today's meeting for harmonisation of the programme will discuss rule of law.
Both parties are pledging radical reform of the justice system and Vettingu in the trial, prosecutor, police and AKI.
At the table with the “legislative priorities in the area of rule of law: A perspective by the new Parliament legislature”, organised by GLPS, Albulen Haxhiu from the Vetevendosje Movement said that even today at the meeting with the LDK will talk about rule of law.
According to her, one of the main goals of their governance, she said it is the return of citizens' trust in the institutions of justice.
“We are obliged to work without stopping to establish independent justice institutions. There must be verification and control of prosecutors, high police levels and AKI. In the past we have had a tendency to suppress parliament. I believe there are many alternatives to how the Vetting case can be addressed. Without the Vettinwgt process, we cannot restore citizens' trust to justice institutions”, she said.
Unlike at today's table, Arbaret Loja from G organization The LPS said Kosovo's justice system is remaining “Achilles're back-up”.
And, Armend Zemaj from the LDK said efficient changes will take place, for which he said needed to also map relevant and correct legislation.
